PCC Receives KLAS Award for Highest Scores Ever
(Winooski, VT)—Physician's Computer Company (PCC) is the proud recipient of the KLAS 10-Year Anniversary award for "High Scorer." The High Scorer award is given by industry-leading research firm KLAS Enterprises (www.healthcomputing.com) to the vendor with the highest overall score in their decade of provider rankings, with a high degree of confidence. PCC's Partner practice management software scored 96.98 (out of 100) in 2005, earning them the High Scorer Award.
PCC also earned the highest overall score by any company in any category in the 2006 KLAS year-end report of health care information technology (HIT) vendors. This marks the second year in a row that PCC has has received higher scores than all other HIT vendors in the report.
With an overall score of 96.33, PCC ranked first in the Ambulatory Billing and Scheduling Specialty Market Segment (1-5 Physicians) of the 2006 Best in KLAS Top 20 Report. For its software capabilities and support services, PCC scored 8.68 of a possible 9, the highest Performance Indicator result recorded in this year's survey, and 91% of PCC clients interviewed called the company their best vendor.
"PCC's top placement with KLAS is well-deserved," said Jill Stoller, M.D. of Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Associates, New Jersey, who disclosed that she participated in the KLAS research survey in 2006. "CRPA researched long and hard before choosing PCC in 2005. PCC's Partner software functions as its own person, clearly allowing us to practice more efficiently. PCC also has incredible support. I don't think there is any other company out there that comes close to providing the type of software and support PCC does."
Mary Vanheck, office manager of Forest Hills Pediatric Associates, Michigan, was not at all surprised at PCC's High Score award. "PCC's support is the best! It really sets them apart. With our last software company, we would have to wait a week or more for a response to a question or a problem we were having. With PCC, we get what we need the day we call, and everyone you talk with is so friendly and helpful. Plus, if PCC's software doesn't do something we need it to do, we just ask and their development team makes the changes for us!"
"The KLAS report has become an annual highlight for PCC," said Chip Hart, head of Pediatric Solutions at PCC. "Years ago, we made the conscious decision to focus on the needs of our customers, not our market share. That decision is paying off and KLAS helps us measure our success. The pride our techs, trainers, and developers take in working with our customers is so important to our company culture. We really appreciate the insight our customer's comments provide to us--you can imagine what hearing of our KLAS award does for our support department."
"KLAS applauds PCC, whose clients report on their continued success at meeting the challenges of today's health care environment" said Barbara Comeau, Independent Research Director for KLAS. "PCC's commitment to their customers is evident as they continue to raise the bar for the industry to meet the needs of today's pediatric practices."
The KLAS rankings, published each year since 1996 (©2006 KLAS Enterprises, LLC. They take into account many aspects of a vendor's performance, from software and support services to training, pricing, the timeliness of implementation, and myriad other issues.
This is PCC's second year participating in the study.
