PCC is proud to announce that we've been named a category leader in the year-end 2005 rankings of healthcare information technology (HIT) vendors published by industry-leading research and analysis firm KLAS Enterprises.

In the new "Ambulatory Specialty" niche, PCC's Partner practice management software and support earned an overall score of 96.98 out of 100, based on the results of questionnaires and in-depth interviews with healthcare providers that use PCC.

'I have never come across a program that is so
user-friendly, and the support PCC gives us is just not
out there anywhere else. They are worth every penny.'

That's the highest overall score earned by any vendor in any category in the entire report, and almost 20 points higher than the average.

"KLAS applauds PCC, and their efforts to address the challenges of todays healthcare environment," said Barbara Comeau, Independent Research Director for KLAS. "KLAS is always pleased when vendors perform well. It benefits the industry, and more importantly, it always benefits the providers."

The KLAS rankings, published each year since 1996, are the only rankings of HIT vendors that are based on the direct—and extensive—input of healthcare providers across North America. They take into account all aspects of a vendor's performance, from software and support services to training, pricing, the timeliness of implementation, and a myriad of other issues.

How has the news resonated within the PCC network? "PCC should be a category leader," said Melissa Jumper, Office Manager at Hershey Pediatric Center in Hershey, PA, who participated in this year's KLAS survey. "I have never come across a program that is so user-friendly, and the support PCC gives us is just not out there anywhere else. They are worth every penny."

"They have really made it their business to understand how a pediatric office runs," added Carol Leichter, Office Manager at East Bay Pediatrics in Berkeley, CA. "So they really understand what we're talking about when we call them with a request. Out here we've been through earthquakes and big fires, but I've never run into a problem with my PCC software that has caused my office to be down."

Here at PCC, the news is not only a cause for celebration; it's a spur to reach new heights. "We're obviously delighted," said Chip Hart, Head of Pediatric Solutions at PCC, indulging in a smile. "It's nice to get recognition like this. But we also know that we can always get better as the needs of our customers evolve—and we actually have quite a bit of stuff in the pipeline that's going to help us keep improving our software and our support, with our EMR at the top of that list."

And with that, Hart was off and running, hardly concerned with achievements or rankings, just focused on the goal of helping pediatricians do their job as well as it can be done. "That's our work," he said. "The rankings will take care of themselves."
